Nawaz Sharif Claims Tomahawk Missiles Were Made By Pakistan, Gets Trolled for It

Wait, what?

Once again a Pakistani politician blew the Internet away with a claim so tall, we had to pinch ourselves to check if we heard everything right. Yesterday, ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif claimed that the Tomahawk missiles were made by Pakistan. Did we just hear that right? We’re as non-plussed as you are!

This isn’t harmless naivete we can laugh about. Pakistani Twitterverse took the ex-premier to school over his massive blunder.

The ex-PM was trying to toot his own horn, claiming that the American-made missile was another one of his personal success stories.

Netizens even dug into what else might be distorted into a Nawaz Sharif success story.

Maybe he was just in another game phase……

Turns out there might be a bigger conspiracy at play here.

Now imagine if we mixed up the names of a MiG and a F-16 as a ‘harmless mistake’ while referring to February 27, 2019. That’s right, never go full India. That’s why you have to get your facts right.

About the Tomahawk Missile

The Tomahawk long-range attack missile was created by American weapons manufacturer Raytheon. The Tomahawk is an all-weather, subsonic cruise missile with nuclear capability.

It is primarily used by the United States Navy in ship and submarine-based land-attack operations. Upgraded versions of the missile can even switch targets while in flight, and change course instantly on command.
