Twitterati trolled fast bowler Mohammad Amir after Pakistan’s dominant T20 World Cup semi-final victory against New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Australia yesterday.
Throughout Pakistan’s World Cup campaign this season, Babar Azam and his side had to endure harsh criticism from a number of former cricketers, but none more so than Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir. The two pacers are currently at odds with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as they have been denied being drafted for the national team for a long time.

Both are part of a sports panel on a local news channel on which they take every opportunity to criticize Pakistan’s performance in the World Cup. In fact, Mohammad Amir had predicted that the men in green are destined for an embarrassing exit from the tournament but it turned out that he was badly mistaken.
After Pakistan’s famous win, people started making memes at Mohammad Amir’s expense.

Former Pakistani player, Wahab Riaz, who is also on the 24 News sports panel with Mohammad Amir, responded to the viral meme and assured Twitterati with a picture of his colleague eating chocolate.
People talking about that @iamamirofficial has eaten Surf after Pakistan win today . Just to let them know he is absolutely fine ! I told them he was eating chocolate 😜😜😜😜 pic.twitter.com/yMjGpZQA3f

“Just to let them know he is absolutely fine! I told them he was eating chocolate,” Wahab Riaz tweeted.
Twitterati continued to school both the former cricketers for their negative analyses. One tweep expressed his disappointment and called their cricket show “toxic”.
This is hands down the most toxic show we have had lately. Two frustrated blokes insulting everyone because of their unfulfilled ambitions. Giving Amir a chance to play again after his shameless fixing fiasco has proven to be the biggest mistake ever by PCB.

Babar Azam and the Boys Silence Critics at the SCG
Pakistan put on a brilliant performance against New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Australia yesterday. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Pakistan restricted the dangerous Kiwi side to just 152 for 4. In response, Pakistan’s star batters, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam, found their form at the right time and responded with another century partnership while Shan Masood took the team to the finish line.
Mohammad Amir is yet to congratulate Babar Azam and Pakistan for making it to the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup final.

Amir you will not be selected in Pakisstan team until you keep your mouth shut.
