Former Miss Croatia Ivana Knöll revealed she received marriage proposals and saucy messages from football players playing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
It seems like several international players have forgotten their international footballing duties and are too busy eyeing the model more than the coveted World Cup.
Ivana Knöll has garnered a lot of attention during the World Cup in Qatar with her skimpy outfits. The controversial model, in a recent interview, revealed that she had gotten messages from fans and locals in Qatar, asking her hand in marriage. She also added that a few prominent football stars slid into her DMs with invitations for a “meet up”.
The Croatian model said she was shocked at how people thought she was an “easy woman”. Despite footballer’s attempts to “score” with her, Knöll prefers to keep a clean sheet, as her only goal during this World Cup “is to make people smile”.
She said,
I am only having fun with everybody. I suppose people like me because I am good looking. I am not interested in meeting with anybody here. My intention is to make people smile, that is all.
The 26-year-old model achieved worldwide fame during the global football with her raunchy outfits that do not conform to Qatar’s conservative dress code. Earlier in the tournament, Knöll was stopped by security personnel during Croatia’s FIFA World Cup quarter-final clash with Brazil at the Education City Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
However, the former Miss Croatia continued her “protest” against Qatar’s ban against female spectators wearing revealing clothes by wearing more risqué outfits.
The model even teased fans of a “special celebration” if Croatia went through to the final, however, Lionel Messi and Argentina dished out a 3-0 beating send her and Croatia packing.
