Rajnikanth’s 3D Film “2.0” to Play in Pakistan

This is madness. This is Spart… we mean Rajnikanth in a 3D film!

In a move that is sure to please fans of Rajnikanth, the man who can do no wrong, his latest balls-to-the-walls 3D movie “2.0” has been cleared for viewing in Pakistan.

2.0 features the evergreen Rajnikanth in twin roles, as a well-meaning scientist/inventor, and his creation Chitti the robot, who is the only thing that can save humanity from the technological horrors wrought by Akshay Kumar. The comedic Akshay returns to his villainous roots in this movie, playing a technologically-powered character that is half Magneto and half Apocalypse.

Check out the insanely slick and CGI-powered trailer of the movie that gives you a glimpse of the plot of “2.0”:

Obviously the plot is about how a guy and his creation can save the world from near catastrophe, but with superstars Akshay and Rajnikanth collaborating for this feature, we reckon that it will play to packed houses in the coming weeks.
