Ever since the conclusion of Netflix’s first ever Indian original series Sacred Games, fans have been eagerly waiting for Sacred Games Season 2. The web series is part crime and part spy thriller about a cop who stumbles on a huge conspiracy to destroy his city.
The release date of Sacred Games Season 2 had been pushed forward following the hectic schedule of both Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. But now, a source close to Saif Ali Khan has finally given the news regarding the release date.

Sacred Games Season 2 Release Date
The source revealed that the sequel to Sacred Games will be coming in September.
They also revealed that Saif Ali Khan will be back in India for the promotion of the hit web series once he finishes the shooting “Jawaani Jaaneman”. The Bollywood Khan is currently shooting for his upcoming film in England.
“Saif’s Sacred Games 2 was earlier supposed to release in June, but now, it will come out in the month of September. The film had to go through a few patchworks and finally, it will be releasing in a couple of months.
As far as Saif is concerned, once he finishes shooting for Jawaani Jaaneman in London, he will return to India and begin promoting the series.“

The Wait Continues
Guess the fans won’t have to wait too long to find out about the exploits of Sartaj Singh and Ganesh Gaitonde.

The first season, which was based on Vikram Chandra’s best-selling novel, was a huge success. It was directed by Anurag Kashyap.
In the next season of the crime drama Saif Ali Khan will be back as Sartaj Singh with new challenges.
