Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of the premium fast bowlers in world cricket. The 22-year-old is in Melbourne, Australia, with his Pakistani teammates for the 2022 ICC World T20i. The fiery pacer made his return to the side after a long break due to a knee injury and now has all the teams on red alert with his bowling performance during Pakistan’s warmup matches with England and Afghanistan.
He was trending on social media recently for bowling a literal toe-crushing yorker to Afghani batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz. We hope Afridi delivers the same kind of performance in the opening world cup match with arch-rivals India on 23 October.
