Suneil Shetty just got a legal notice for the weirdest reason. In the process, he proved that no matter how famous you are, you can’t help being overprotective about your kids.
Every parent is concerned about their son or daughter’s career. If they happened to be in the same biz, parents do give pointers. While kids may be used parents butting into every decision, not everyone appreciates when it gets too excessive and close to comfort!

Suneil Shetty, an overbearing parent?
Looks like Suneil Shetty has been publicly exposed as ‘the obnoxious parent’.
Recently, Shetty was served a legal notice for excessively interfering in his daughter Athiya Shetty’s film, Motichoor Chaknachoor.
Motichoor Chaknachoor film-makers had to serve the warning to the veteran actor so that he could stop meddling in the film in any manner. Suneil Shetty has been warned to refrain from trying to call the shots in the film (film-makers will not be schooled).
According to the Pune Mirror, the notice reads:
“Mr Suneil Shetty has no right, title and/or interest in the said film and has no capacity or any authority to either directly or indirectly discuss or take any decisions, negotiate, strategise or overlook the edit or in any manner interfere or be involved with the film Motichoor Chaknachoor or with its cast, crews, technical teams or coordinate with the studio involved with the film or its creative and marketing teams or post productions or any person connected or with the trade”.

A Warning
The notice warned that if Suniel Shetty thinks this will just zone out (like parents assume it will), that will not be the case. The film-makers were firm on the matter that violation of the order will lead to consequences (oh, how the tables turn, when a word around consequence gets thrown out).
“If done so, it shall be considered as trespassing and breach of confidentiality at its own risk, cost and consequences,” the notice read.

The ‘obnoxious parent’ in question did not make a statement on the notice. Rather, Suneil just said that he ‘will talk at the right time’.
