Veena Malik’s Ex-Husband to Seek Maulana Tariq Jameel’s Help in Children Custody Matter

Asad Khattak claims to have seen his kids after four years.

Actress, model, and TV show host, Veena Malik and her ex-husband, Asad Khattak, have been told by the Sindh High Court (SHC) to settle their child custody matters out of court, following which the latter revealed that he has attempted to get Maulana Tariq Jameel’s assistance in it.

Justice Salahuddin Pahnwar heard Veena Malik’s petition against a family court’s order in a children’s custody case between her and Asad Khattak.

Veena Malik had brought both her children to court as ordered by the SHC and Justice Pahnwar ordered their father to meet them for two hours.

“Try to settle your matters out of court,” the judge advised the couple. “We are making efforts in this regard. We hope the matter will be resolved,” the counsel for the petitioner said.

The judge advised the parents to “Try to settle your matters out of court,” to which Veena Malik’s petitioner responded, “We are making efforts in this regard. We hope the matter will be resolved”.

Asad Khattak’s lawyer stated that he fears that the Koi Tujh Sa Kahan actress would take the children abroad.

Justice Panhwar responded, “If she takes the children abroad, she will have to bring them back to meet their father. It is a father’s right to meet his children”.

Veena Malik guaranteed that she would bring the children to see their father whenever the court ordered.

Asad Khattak met his children for two hours as per the SHC’s order, following which Veena Malik left the court building with them.

Asad Khattak described his meeting with his children as ‘pleasant’ and remarked,

I feel happy to have met my children after four years. It’s my legal right to see them.

He revealed that he has been trying to contact Tableeghi Jamaat preacher, Maulana Tariq Jameel, to request him to play a role in the matter.

Veena Malik tied the knot with Asad Bashir Khan Khattak in 2013. Unfortunately, their marital bliss did not last long and the couple split after four years.

After the divorce, Asad Khattak claimed that the star had illegally brought their children to Pakistan from Dubai.
