We are told by multiple sources at PTCL and Warid that Javed Mushtaq CIO, Warid Telecom is moving to PTCL.
Javed Muhstaq served Warid from 2004 to January 2008 as DGM – IT and then as Chief Information Officer from January 2008 to present day.
Some more sources have told ProPakistani that Mr. Javed has resigned from Warid; however, Warid didn’t confirm his resignation as of now.
Sources at PTCL revealed that company was earlier on in talks with a Mobilinker for the post; however, the deal didn’t go through for some reasons. After which Javed Mushtaq was contacted and ultimately confirmed to head IT Department at PTCL.
Javed Mushtaq is a Quaid-e-Azam University graduate and has served telecommunication and banking industry.
So Warid’s Management has started moving out of company.
I think it not good for WARID that its team is moving out but PTCL need an IT HEAD because they don’t have it at this time.
