  • Why to use the word Unlimited for just 100 MB?
PTA better define this Unlimited word

    • and who fragging stays awake after 1am .. i sure hope their target market is NOT university/college students and 9 to 5 working class (which includes majority of fresh graduates and i think half of pakistan’s working population).

Nice thinking, you decision makers at warid.

  • @ Omer

Dear I think you have not read the post clearly

Note: As per fair use policy the data limit per subscription is 100mb.

100mb is an ample amount for the defined time slot @ very nominal rates.

    • The rate is good and the data limit is ample enough for most users.

But I think we need an educational campaign to explain the meaning of the word “Unlimited” as most people (especially the advertisers and regulators) seem surprisingly ignorant of its meaning.

According to a popular online dictionary, unlimited means:

      1 : lacking any controls : unrestricted
      2 : boundless, infinite
3 : not bounded by exceptions : undefined

      [Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary. 2010.
      ]

Hopefully this should clear many things…

  • Hey do anyone know if Opera Mini is working on Warid or any other mobile company?

    • operamini version 4.2 and 5 are not working on warid. however version 3 is working.

    • opera mini beta version working perfect with zong

Why to give away 20 rupee daily . when zong is offering 2gb @ 200 per month. with exellent browsing and download speed via IDM.

      • hey can u tell me sumthing about this zong 2gb 100rupies pkg..?? i want to activate it so can u tell me how can i activate this pkg..?? p

    • Ufone is better if you want to download any third applications from the internet. Opera Mini (all version) and others mobile software work well. I am not happy with Telenor GPRS, many restrictions there… I recommend, if you want to use internet freely then go for Ufone.

  • just get zong’s 2 gb for 200 a month . zong is the best in net rates . all others suck . the speed isnt “ALOT” diffrent either

  • 100MB only :S … what kind of joke is that .. Propakistani.pk shouldn’t have written unlimited on the subject of this news. shame on warid.

  • although the package itself is crap but I hope it might be a first step towards to GPRS competition :-) I hope other companies come up with better packages :-)

  • hahaahah i think warid is just make fun of themselves who uses GPRS @ nite i think less then 1% of users, we need GPRS when we r on the go that is mostly @ day time it should have been for 24hrs then it would have been great.

  • now company’s are joking with customers PTA should notice this word “unlimited”

  • I think the best gprs package is mobilink indigo just 16.61 per day and surf unlimited(no cap) internet and free mms to any network in pakistan (gprs1)

  • Ufone is better if you want to download any third applications from the internet. Opera Mini (all version) and others mobile software work well. I am not happy with Telenor GPRS, many restrictions there… I recommend, if you want to use internet freely then go for Ufone.

  • guys warid is also offering another package for 24 hours. its GPRS bucket. 10 MB package in 30 rupees. and validity will be 30 days.

write data and send it to 3282. 30 rupees will be charged and user will be able to use 10 MB gprs with 30 days validity.

  • The Marketing Guy was watching Twilight SAGA: Eclipse i guess while developing this promotion.
According to my experience Warid GPRS/EDGE is the worst in terms of charges and Who says 100 MB is enough? Modern handsets with good browsers consume this much in 1-2 hours. As i myself used the 10Mb bucket once and it was all consumed within 15 minutes.

  • Warid have the best data network no doudt in it This is a good package if you compare it with 500 rupees and 2GB of data in post paid it means

This is good package for prepaid 20*30=600Rs a month and data is almost 3GB
only issue is the timing of the package
As far as warid network is concern 100Mb can be used easily that best data network of Pakistan is warid

  • i think from all of your conversation if i try to summarize, first timing of offer is not good(1am to 9am), if warid want to come up with this offer they should come up at peak time, and most of mobile internet user like you guys are satisfy with there operators( specially U-fone, Zong), if warid want come up with offer in order to gain market share they should come up with some thing extra ordinary, instead of offering normal package, package is not bad, if they offer this package 8 month back then it might create difference :)

    • Just a humble request Zong, Ufone are not as good as warid
no comparison of warid with zong and ufone

  • Yes Hassan you are right Warid is the only network that is the best in Pakistan and then Telenor is good while Zong, Ufone and Mobilink got call connectivity and call drop issue.

Well someone saying Warid is doing crap is the one not using Warid i think. Its the company that i think had been so far always and this package is simply great. Telenor and Ufone also got good offers but i like Telenor the most in terms of its marketing.

    • Dear Abbasi
We are using telenor offically and we had too bad expreince.
Before that we used mobilink and warid

Now we are going back to warid and found that this is the best operator of PK in terms of quality and price no match
But in Telenor they are toooo bad its our personal experience. Specialy IR have lot of issue no roaming in china :-(

  • Abbasi your right as far as service concern Warid is very good, but here we are more talking about Packages, you know what if we compare service with packages then packages matter more, like if your service is not working in one room, you can move to another room, but if you have limited package then u cant extent it. then you have to pay more, that the game, that why people concern more on Packages rather then service, and zong and telenor service is normal not bad, that also create difference

  • I have youtube client in my cell, who says 100mb is ample amount ? who who? :@

PTA must define Unlimited, bcoz my unlimited might be 1000, yours can be 10, and for someone else it can be 1 only.

  • dude, go and learn some english , itni bari company banai and unlimited ki meaning nhi aati, doob maro warid walo, unlimited my ass !!!!

  • I am not sure where you’re getting your information, but good topic. I needs to spend some time learning much more or understanding more. Thanks for fantastic info I was looking for this info for my mission.
