PTCL Evo Nitro thumb PTCL EVO Reaches 180 cities, Nitro in 70 CitiesPakistan Telecommunication Company Limited’s (PTCL) EVO wireless broadband has become Pakistan’s widest broadband Internet network covering 90 per cent of the nation’s population in more than 180 cities and towns, said a statement issued by the company.

EVO customers can now experience on-the-go wireless broadband Internet wherever they roam by connecting to EVDO Rev A speeds of up to 3.1Mbps with PTCL EVO, EVO Wi-Fi Cloud, EVO Tab and EVO Droid in more than 180 cities across Pakistan.

PTCL has also recently expanded coverage of its fastest Nitro Rev B network to 70 cities. Customers can now cruise with matchless speeds of up to 9.3Mbps with EVO Nitro’s Rev B in more than 70 cities.

PTCL’s EVO wireless broadband is the only wireless broadband network providing Rev A and Rev B connectivity in Pakistan, giving unlimited data volume downloads in unlimited usage packages. Its superior 3G experience comes in a variety of prepaid and postpaid device and connectivity package options that give customers multiple bill payment and prepaid recharge options to suit their needs.

    If it has really covered 90percent then i really felt deprived and backward because in our province Khyber pukhtunkhwa only two cities being covered by evo. So we ain’t being considered a paki nation or what? Now some patriots will try speaking their mind of large and small area but fact is fact.

    PTCL corporate website says that the Nitro USB Device Charges is Rs. 3999/. However, their customer sales officer says it is Rs. 8500/-.

    Please tell him which information is correct.

    I am having trouble with Evo 3.1 in day time its speed drops to just 18 KB/s while its suppose to be 200+ and its really getting on my nerves. Any solutions?

        1 Mbps = 128 kbps so agar app 500 kbps downlink recive kar rahy ho it’s mean u recive more than 3.1 Mbps it not a joke it’s real…..

    PTCL frequency differs in entire KPK from rest of Pakistan. i think its 450MHz which is not compatible
    with nitro. Thats the main reason that the list does
    not include a singe city of KPK. seperate EVO devices are used in KPK, which again does not work in rest of pakistan. what a duel standard.

    I have been trying to convince PTCL for sometime now to start EVO service in Topi, KPK. Potential customers are residents of Topi, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute students, faculty members and their families and also the residents of the area near the Tarbela dam. I think it is a pretty big demographic – much larger than some of the cities listed in the list above. Please work on it and see if it is a viable option. Thanks
