Quetta Gladiators climbed to the top of the table thanks to Shane Watson’s all-round performance coupled with Sarfaraz Ahmed‘s match-winning knock.

Karachi Kings Innings

A turbo-charged performance from the top order, including Joe Denly’s 78 (55), Babar Azam’s 58 (39), and Colin Ingram’s 28 (8) helped Karachi motor to the highest score of PSL 3.

Mohammad Irfan’s economy of 5.25 curbed the flow of runs for some time but the Kings hammered all other bowlers to post 188 on the board for the loss of 3 wickets only.

Multan Sultans Innings

A target of 189 was always going to be tough in Dubai, however, Kumar Sangakkara’s firepower at the top gave Sultans a ray of hope. His departure allowed Karachi to make inroads and it was Afridi’s night – he took 3 wickets to rip apart the Sultans batting line.
