After outperforming India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy last year, the date for the crunch tie between Pakistan and India for the 2019 Cricket World Cup has been finalized.
According to various sources, the arch rivals will face each other on 16th June in Manchester.
This Pak-India rivalry is a globally admired spectacle and due to which, International Cricket Council (ICC) always aims to pair the two teams together.

In 2017 ICC CT, Pakistan and India were paired together where India comfortably conquered Pakistan only to meet them in the final of the competition again.
The final, as every fan remembers, was a one-sided affair as Pakistan posted a humongous score on the board and restricted India to a low total thanks to Muhammad Aamir’s destructive bowling.
This tie holds even more significance as both nations are currently facing a heat legal battle over India’s refusal to play a bilateral series. India has refused to comply with a signed agreement due to which Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has shown anger and threatened legal action.
The bilateral series agreement is currently being assessed by a three-member ICC panel and the decision will be made soon.
The 2019 World Cup is set to take place in England and Wales and will commence from 30th May.
