The PTI-chief, with his charismatic and prevailing presence online, has made him a popular figure in the world of Twitter. Imran, who is set to take oath on 11^th August, has 8.17 million followers on Twitter.

He went past Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau (4.26 million followers), French prime minister Emmanuel Macron (3.2 million followers) and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (1.4 million followers), even before he became a candidate for PM-ship.
