PTCL Seeks PTA’s Help in Recovering Dues from its Defaulters

PTCL has requested Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to use its legal powers to help PTCL in recovering dues from its defaulters and also has requested to cancel the licenses of defaulting operators.

Our sources confirmed that this formal request says that PTCL has major contribution towards telcom sector through its network infrastructure, interconnection and other services to licensed operators on mutually agreed terms and conditions, however, these defaulter operators have started getting services from other interconnection providers.

It was revealed that PTCL has to receive about Rs. 2600 millions.

Source further confirmed that PTCL has offered many convenient payment schedules to liable operators to clear their outstanding payments but nothing worked out.
