A couple of years ago, the Federal Government started developing and maintaining official websites under the e-government campaign. In 2005, the official website was launched for the President of Pakistan. It seemed as if the website was created in a hurry as the official .gov.pk domain was not used rather a .com domain had been used. Last week, the President’s website underwent a significant change. It’s now a .gov.pk domain and has a much better interface as well. It is far from perfect but it sure is a welcoming improvement.
The most recognizable thing is the change to .gov.pk which gives the website the status of an official government website, rather than the old .com domain which portrayed the negligence of the Aiwan e Sadr towards maintaining an online presence.
The main page seriously needs improvement as the larger pictures are surely an unwelcome sight. Other than the main page, the drops down menus are much better than the previous website where the links from the main page were quite frankly pathetic and hardly any information was available. The multimedia section on the website is maintaining a photo and video gallery of the president and the archives section presents a peek into the past as well. The photo gallery’s I have to say are better managed than the rest of the website.
The “About Pakistan” page is almost the same as present on the websites of different Pakistani missions abroad and deserves a makeover. The Country Profile on the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is quite well in this regard and I’m sure the President’s Media Team is more than capable to write a couple of nice paras about our country.
The President maintains an unofficial website at zardari.tv which is aimed more towards a political website, which I’m guessing is maintained by the PPP Secretariat.
I’m hopeful the Prime Minister Secretariat will soon come up with pm.gov.pk or primeminister.gov.pk. As of today, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting maintains the PM’s only online presence with an official profile. The PM surely needs his own domain and official website. (The PM Secretariat website http://www.pmsectt.gov.pk/ is the same as the official website of the Federal Government at http://www.pakistan.gov.pk)
Overall, the new design is much better than the old one and is a good change. The E-Government Directorate has hardly done anything towards establishing an online presence of the government and establishing a much easier way for the masses to interact with officials.
Looking forward to a change in the design of Federal Ministry websites as well, nearly all of which have the same standardised design and are hardly ever updated.

نہ ہو تو اپ کوئی بھی 10 لوگوں کے شناختی کارڈ نمبرز 668 پر میسیج کریں 9 افراد کے
نام پر ایسی سمز 668 سے انے والے مسیج میں ظاہر ہوں گی جسکا علم ان 9 افراد کے
فرشتوں کو بھی نہ ۔ ہوگا۔ کیا ان کروڑوں عوام کے شناختی کارڈوں کے غلط استعمال پر
کسی فرنچائز کو اج تک سزا ملی؟ مل بھی نہی سکتی کہ وہ کوی دکاندار یا عام عوام

اخراجات نکال کر کمانے والے ٹیکس چور ہیں جو قانون کو خریدنا جانتے ہیں۔
جس ملک کا قانون صرف طاقتور اور پیسے والو کو
تحفظ فراہم کرتا اور کمزوروں کےفورا خلاف حرکت میں اجاتا ہو۔وہاں کل بھی اج بھی

کا کام کرتا ہے۔جسکہ زریع ان کی أپس کی بات چیت ان کی پلاننگ پتہ چلتی ھے۔ ان کو

بھی استمعال میں نہیں اسکتی نہ کال کی جاسکتی ہے نہ اسکتی ہے نہ مسیج وہ ایک ڈیڈ
کنکشن ہوتی ہے۔ کسٹمر کسی بھی موبائل شاپ سے اپنی پسند کا نمبر خریدے پھر اس کنکشن
کو ایکٹیو کرانے کے لیے قریبئ نادرا أفس یا موبایل فرنچایز جا کر بایومیٹرک سسٹم
میں اپنی تمام معلومات فراہم کر کے کنکشن کارأمد ایکٹیو کرالے۔ اس طرح اگر کوی غلط

دوسروں کو فارورڈ کرکے ھماری مدد کر سکتے ہیں۔شاید أپ کی زرا سی کوشش سے 25 لاکھ گھروں کا چولہا بجھنےسے بچ جاے۔

I am writing this letter in regards to some problems about our villages and their people, I am nephew of former Uc Nazim Haji Riaz Hussain Zardari & landlord Hamzo Ali Zardari (American) . The landlord of Village Zardari Abad Amrican Farm and Old Village Piyaro Faqeer Zardar Uc Jamal Shah 30 taluka Daur District Shaheed Benazir Abad .
Respected Sir,
We are one of the oldest workers of peoples party, but there is no due response for us at Zardari house . How sad we are to write these lines to you but it is because we have been thinking this era as ours own. If we had been right in our claim then at least we must had been given due attention/ notice and consideration at Zardari House. There is none to listen us and send our requests to you! it is being felt for the last about five years that we are as strangers for You and Chairman of PPP .
We are very sad about the attitude toward us of our own government , because we never have seen such glorius days in our life before. We have been requesting to you and Your respected sisters: Faryal Talpur sahiba and Adi Azrah Pecho Sahiba our MNA personally, and ” Social and welfare Service department Shaheed Benazir Abad Nawab Shah” all of you have been ignoring us since 2008 up to day.
Before general elections of 2008 you yourself and Adi Faryal Talpur sahiba had promised with my uncle and our elders that , providing basic facilities as Road,Electricity , Hospital and School( boys and girls), Gas , and Government services/jobs to those persons of our village who deserve/educated but unfortunately out of all demands no demand has been provided to us.Though we are Zardaris and looking forward to you as well as
I also have Completed my education with flying color . I applied many time in Govt. Departments for jobs on merit but no response was found until from the Govt. Sir the reason I found is that the corrupt govt. executive official appointed the people and taking money under the table for the appointments including Chief Minister Sindh .
Sir , it is requested that as Shaheed Mutharma Benezir Bhutto always says” democracy is the best revenge”. In this democratic period please do some things . Regarding my job I also many time met and give CV to Mr Maqbool Memon and our MPA at Zardari house in Nawab Shah and Karachi but they didn’t give me any response still today for all jobless people of District Shaheed Benazir abad do justice? Give us the result as we always expecting from your side.
There fore it is a humble request to your kind honor that must due directions be given to the concerned persons and departments so as your words can be kept. we your voters and lovers who are always with you at the difficult times can be glad. problems must be solved on priority bases as soon as possible at least before coming general elections.
