With Bakra Eid right around the corner, plenty of companies are designing social media campaigns and competitions around the theme. One such campaign is #BakraSelfie. Launched by foona, it combines the flavor of the month (bakras) with the most effective pop culture phenomenon in recent times (selfie).
The company organizing the competition, foona, is a social network designed for food lovers. Great for discovery of new places to eat and sharing your opinions on the ones you do love; it aims to be a one stop place for learning where to serve all your food cravings.
The rules of the competition are pretty simple. Just take a selfie with your Eid animal, preferably a bakra and share it on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Tag the photo the with the hashtag #BakraSelfie and it will appear on foona’s competition page here: http://foona.net/bakraselfie
Then it’s simply a matter of sharing your photos with your family and friends and making them go viral!
