How to Check Owner Name of a Mobile Number?

With SIM re-verification drive entering into its second phase, mobile phone users are hurrying to get their mobile numbers re-verified through biometric verification system.

Just to remind, any SIM that will remain un-verified after April 13th, 2015 will get blocked.

During this, when customers reach service centres, franchises or retail outlets of cellular companies, they are told that SIMs are not in their name. Hence it is always a good idea to know the owner name and CNIC of a SIM card.

This is especially true for those customers who bought SIMs during 2005-2010 when SIM registration used to be an alien idea and majority of mobile phone users from that time are not the owners of the SIMs they are using.

How to Know Owner Name of SIM

Mobile phone users of any company (Telenor / Mobilink / Ufone / Warid / Zong) can send a blank SMS to 667 to know the ownership of this particular SIM.

Please note that you will have to send this SMS from the SIM card itself to know the owner name.

Simply Send a bank SMS (or anything if your phone doesn’t allow blank messages) to 667

System will send you a reply with the owner name and CNIC number of the owner of the SIM card. Check below example:
