Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy J7 (2016 edition) in Pakistan.
The phones comes with a large 5.5 inch display with a 720p resolution. Under the hood, you get an Octa-core 1.6 GHZ processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that can be bumped up through an external microSD card slot.
On the camera front, you get a 13MP shooter at the back and a 5MP camera at the front, which comes with its own dedicated flash for selfies. There are plenty of features that should make snapping a great photo easy.
It’s all powered by a 3300 mAh battery, which is user replaceable. Other notable features include a metal frame construction and Dual SIM capabilities. The Galaxy J7 is now available in the market for Rs. 33,000. You get a free 16GB microSD card with the purchase.
While it offers great battery timings according to initial tests, everything else is decidedly average. That makes us wonder why Samsung priced the phone so high. Metal construction no longer justifies a significant premium as evidenced by the likes of Xiaomi and Asus.
It seems like the company needs to step up its game if it wants us to part with our money.
