YouTube Just Enabled Offline Video Playback Feature for Pakistan

As part of YouTube Red usually, which is not available in Pakistan, YouTube is rolling out its offline playback feature for Pakistan, we have checked with multiple users.

Offline playback is usually part of YouTube red — a premium service with added features and exclusive content — but YouTube enables this features as a separate service where YouTube Red isn’t available.

With offline playback, users — on Android and iOS devices — are shown a download button below the player, clicking on which the video is automatically downloaded for offline playback.

At the time of downloading a video, YouTube also offers users to select the video quality.

Not to mention, these downloaded videos are saved for certain time duration only — 48 hours usually — after which you need to download the videos again.

YouTube says that this short term expiry of videos is to avoid any copyright violations of protected videos.
