As we reported earlier, Mobilink has completed the process of integrating Jazz and Warid networks to an extent that they are now offering over 50 million combined customers of both the brands the facility to make on-net jazz to warid and warid to jazz calls.
Mobilink today released a TVC to announce this with a welcome message for customers of both the networks. “Welcome” is what people are saying to each other in the video that pictures people from across Pakistan.
Essentially, with this, Jazz and Warid will start offering packages that will come with on-net calls for both the networks.
Not to mention, ultimately one network — most probably Warid — will phase out to combine all customers on a single network, that would be “Jazz”.
Below is the TVC that Mobilink released on the occasion:
Below is
Jazz + Warid = ?
Happy and sad at the same time ?
Waja Bhi Bta Do?
Because “Warid” is going.
Happy because … … … ????
Ugh. I better not have Mobilink written on my phone instead of Warid.
You can change it :P
BTW Mobilink looks better than Warid-Tel :D
Nahi bhai humko to Warid-Tel he chahye
Change operator name :P
* carrier label
left Mobilink and came and Warid, looks like Mobilink followed me.
will again have to quit it I think. Mobilink is damn costly network
ported out from maybelink to Warid in march 2007 and now this is the worst can happen. I will evaluate technically and than go for the best option or might stay if maybelink can improve
Happy to see the upcoming offers from this merged network. But sad for those who will soon be terminate from their jobs. According to my views this merger is not good for industry neither for consumers as it is supporting more monopolistic environment and it is also affecting it’s employees as huge layoff is expected in near future.
Will this merger mean that one mobile service provider slot is rendered vacant and we may have a new bidding for a new mobile service provider?
No. Both conpanies merged their business. They still have to renew their separate licenses after expiry.
I shifted in 2005, from Mobilink (Maybelink) to Warid and hence got a much much better network and a very good experience. But 2 years ago, I got the same number from ZONG and I started using it. By this merger, I always think that how lucky I was to to get myself out of that “Mobilink TRAP”
Aggggghhhhhh….. may-be-link
Terrible.
Losing Warid is like losing my cellphone identity. Been using it since I first got a mobile almost 9 years ago.
After official merger Jazz 3g and Warid 4g Lte Network is very poor in evening at Karachi. i am totally disappoint.
Wash-A-hat, Pallikarya, Har-kad-e-ao all mean “Welcome” in Pakistan, never knew that. Such beautiful languages of our country.
It’s a huge challenge to fulfill their promise!
BTW well executed ad…
Yeah really like the ad. Shot in 4k.
That’s so true!
