Election Commission Signs ITButler e-Services to Improve its Digital Security

Last week, ITButler e-Services (ITB) and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) signed a contract for ISO 27001:2013 and International Security Management Systems Training.

Under this agreement, ITB will provide different services to ECP that include reviewing current ECP status, ISO 27001:2013 GAP Analysis, GAP Analysis of ECP’s data centers, IT systems, people and processes, ISMS Training for ECP staff members, Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Penetration Test (PT) of ECP’s IT assets, Physical Security of ECP’s assets, ISMS documentation, Risk assessment, Assisting ECP to implement ISO 27001:2013 and Information Security Awareness training of ECP IT staff, users and management.

The Election Commission of Pakistan, is an independent, autonomous, permanent and constitutionally established federal body. Responsible for organizing and conducting of elections to state parliament, provincial legislatures, local governments, elections to the office of President of Pakistan, Delimitation of Constituencies and preparation of Electoral Rolls.
