Hasan Ali Makes Yet Another Bowling Record

Hasan Ali — current number one bowler in ODIs — is continuing his fantastic year in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) as he took five wickets on Monday for just 20 runs.

The Pakistani pacer has managed to make a superb start to his BPL career by bowling out five batsmen in just 3.3 overs.

Hasan’s splendid performance put his side, the Comilla Victorians, in a commanding position against the Dhaka Dynamites.

The pacer often uprooted the middle stump in his superb bowling spell where all of his wickets were bowleds.

Following Bangladesh’s Rubel Hossain, Hasan Ali becomes only the second bowler to have bowled out five batsmen in a single T20 game. It is a big feat considering that Bangladeshi pitches usually support spin bowlers.

Affiliated with Peshawar Zalmi, Hasan has rose to prominence very quickly. His incredible display in the domestic league and in ICC Champions Trophy has raised his reputation to a world class bowler.
