Harry Kane has registered his name in the Champions League history books with his crucial goal in a 2-2 draw at Juventus on Tuesday night.
Kane scored his 9th Champions League goal in as many appearances, which is one better than the previous record in nine games — shared by Ronaldinho, Simone Inzaghi, Didier Drogba and Diego Costa.
The Tottenham forward has managed 7 of those goals this season, matching Steven Gerrard’s most goals scored by an Englishman in a single campaign.

Kane, talking to a reporter after the game, said:
I should have scored the header but you have to be ready for the next one and I finished it off.
Kane is currently has 7 goals in CL, 2 behind top-scorer Ronaldo.
Tottenham did not have a good start as the team conceded 2 goals in the space of nine minutes. However, showing character, the Pochettinho men got back in the game thanks to two great goals.
Eriksen, who managed to score from a free kick for the first time the last two seasons, claimed that he fancies Tottenham in the 2nd leg as well.

Talking to a sports media outlet after the match, Pochettino claimed that his team was sloppy to concede 2 goals in quick succession but praised how his players responded.
