New Pakistani Microchip Fitted Footballs to be Used in FIFA World Cup 2018

Football fans are entering into a frenzy as the mega event comes closer.

The company informed that the new ball includes a microchip technology that allows the speed and trajectory of the ball to be tracked and analyzed.

The Secretary Commerce wished the Forward Group to continue their winning streak in securing bids for the FIFA World Cups.

Secretary Commerce Younus Dagha informed the company CEO Khwaja Masood Akhtar about the measures that the government is taking to promote innovation and technology among the country’s industrial sector.

  • Would like to add that almost all the FIFA world cups were played with soccer balls made in Sialkot. Irony was that it did not mention “Made in Pakistan” or “Made in Germany” etc,, just mentioned “Engineered in Germany”.
