Samsung Galaxy A7 Shown Off With 3 Rear Cameras in Leaked Photos

Samsung’s upcoming mid-range phone has just got leaked, and unlike other leaks involving mid-range phones, this one will have you excited.

Coming courtesy of Galaxy Club, the leaked renders and hands-on image show a three-lens camera setup on the back, which will be a first for a Samsung phone.

We had previously anticipated that the Galaxy S10 flagships will come with the feature, but now it looks like Samsung won’t wait that long for it.

Next, if you noted the missing fingerprint scanner, it seems Samsung will mount it on the sides, rather than underneath the display (it’s still an upper mid-range phone, after all).

The front of the phone looks how you’d expect a mid-range phone to look in 2018, though, there isn’t a notch on it. The leak shows a blue colored A7, but you can be sure to see additional colors once its released.

The phone is expected to be unveiled at a Samsung event on October 11th, with the tagline “4x fun”. Once again, October is shaping to be a cracking month for smartphone releases with Razer Phone 2, the Pixel 3 siblings and Galaxy A7 2018.

More for Mid-rangers

The news isn’t surprising, as in recent times Samsung has been strategizing how to make a comeback in the mid and low-end segments. The first of such moves involves bringing high-end features in a lower bracket, sometimes even before they hit the upper-end.

The new Galaxy A7 2018 could be among the first outcomes of that strategy. We might even see the impending revamp of Samsung’s naming convention as well with the J series ending soon.
