Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Punjab Education Department have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a women cricket academy in Multan.
PCB officials and Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik signed the MoU on Wednesday. As per available details, the education department will designate the Kanday Wala Ground Muslim Primary School Nishtar Road for the academy.

The Deputy Commissioner said that PCB will upgrade the ground along with the girls’ cricket academy, gymnasium, indoor games, and athletic track.
The academy is being set up to promote healthy sports activities among girl students, giving them more opportunities as a result.
