Mohammad Hafeez Lashes Out Against Emirates Airlines on Twitter

Pakistani cricketer, Mohammad Hafeez, is not happy with the customer service of Emirates Airlines following a recent bad experience. The allrounder has publicly criticized Emirates for their money minting tactics.

The former test cricketer has recently undergone an operation for his fractured thumb, an injury he picked during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019. He was ruled out of the remainder of PSL matches as the doctors advised a rest of 4-6 weeks.

The Professor went to London for the operation, however, he was stuck due to the closure of Pakistani airspace for commercial flights during the last few days. Hafeez took to Twitter to lash out at the UAE-based airline, saying:

Extreme level of GREEDINESS by Emirates by asking for more money to issue tickets from London to Lahore even though I was booked & cancelled by them on 1st March,Was stuck here in London due to operation issue,Amazed by their behaviour as Seats r available

Hafeez said that despite prior booking, which was later canceled, Emirates asked for more money for the ticket for a Lahore bound flight from London. He did not like the fact that despite the availability of seats, the airline had asked for more money as the cancelation of his booking was not his fault.

Emirates customer services’ Twitter handle was quick to respond to the player’s annoyance with their services, asking Hafeez to share the booking details.

Hafeez is yet to respond to the tweet, however, the quick reply to a celebrity irked a few ordinary customers.

Others jumped in to compare the airline with others.

And here’s what Qatar Airways did.

And patriots were there too.

Some more bad experience.
