My Heart Will Always Belong to Pakistan: Martin Kobler’s Last Video Message

A friend of Pakistan and German Ambassador to the country, Martin Kobler, is leaving Pakistan soon. These are indeed emotional times for all his fans in the country who enjoy his jolly nature and efforts to promote Pakistani culture.

The top diplomat has posted his farewell video message for his lovers. Taking to Twitter, the German envoy thanked Pakistanis for their hospitality and respect.

Wearing his Sherwani, Kobler said that ‘I leave with a very sad heart, but, be sure, I will come back as an ordinary tourist’.

I spent two of the most wonderful years here in Pakistan. My heart will always belong to certain parts of Pakistan.
He also talked about how enjoyable his stay was in the country especially when discovering so many beauties of Pakistan and above all, ‘discovering the people of Pakistan’. Furthermore, he wished best of luck to all Pakistanis, especially the youth.
Despite all the difficulties you might have in the political, social and economic fields, I am confident that Pakistan will make a way to peace and prosperity.
“Thank you very much, bahot shukria, for giving me such a wonderful time in your country”, were the farewell words.
