The question paper for the Zoology exam of Intermediate Part-II of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has been leaked.
This is the fifth exam in a row to be leaked before the students even reached their examination halls. The exam went viral on social media 40 minutes before the exam was scheduled to commence.
Notably, this is not the first time such an incident has happened. The practice is rampant for several years. Earlier, the matriculation examination met the same fate, as the question papers were put up for sale on WhatsApp.
Authorities have dismally failed to curtail cheating in board exams. A few days ago, the solved exam papers of Pakistan Studies and Mathematics were available on WhatsApp.
Upon receiving such complaints, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah suspended the Controller of Examination Sukkur Board but no progress can be seen after that.
Not only that, the question papers are being leaked but the students have also found new ways of cheating with the use of technology. Students have been cheating openly in the examination halls through their mobile phones (which they are not supposed to bring in the hall) and with books and other material without any fear.
