K-Electric Launches Mobile App & Web Portal for Customers

In a bid to improve its customer service, K-Electric has launched the KE Live app and a web portal to facilitate its customers.

The app assists in accessing a variety of services. After signing up, the user will be able to access many features like billing details, historical data, integrated unit consumption comparative graphs, and duplicate bill downloads.

Other features enable the user to report power theft, lodge complaints and get live power status update. The app also enables consumers to locate their nearest customer care center.

A few days ago, K-Electric upgraded its site power grid station with reliable and efficient Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.

The power supply company has also received recognition nationally and regionally for its efforts to maximize convenience for its customers through advanced digital solutions. In 2018, K-Electric won the Pakistan Digi Awards for the second time.

It also won the ‘Best Use of Technology’ award in the ‘Best Customer Innovation’ category at the Genesys G-Summit Middle East 2017 held in Dubai. It was the first time a Pakistani company had claimed this award at the regional platform.

The KE Live App is available for both Android and iPhone users on the Google Play Store and App Store. It can also be downloaded from the web portal: live.ke.com.pk.


  • Compliments to the NEPRA, the KE utility on the honors/awards won at the National, Regional levels by KE Live App., KE’s drive is all for sales, marketing, Revenue Optimisation, Tariff enhancement, recoveries etc., as a monopoly which could be broken constiutionally and handed over to GOP to run it like it was in the best interests of the nation. KE should focus in customer facilitation in alternative Energy as solar, PV, Reverse Metering, Power Banks, Solar generation to energise power banks for EV transport, Hybrid Transport, Street Light, and power outages. It should always think how it can provide comfort in the global warming to the consumer in extreme heat as the HVAC is not the least affordable. KE should initiate as central HVAC unit to provide HVAC to homes, hospitals, buildings, on a commercial scale and very efficiently produced HVAC to homes, hospitals, commercial establishment as value added service at no margin. This will be a new horizon for the company to accomodate the customers. The matter at IEC, Paris for providing to utilities worldwide.
