English Paper of HSSC-1 Leaks Ahead of Exams in Karachi

The question paper for the English exam of Intermediate Part-I of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has been leaked well ahead of the official start time of the exam.

The question paper and its solved version went viral on social media 40 minutes before the students reached the examination hall. So far, all the intermediate exams from Karachi Board have been leaked this year. In fact, the practice has continued for several years.

Still, the authorities have failed to stop cheating and prevent papers from spreading online, despite the Photostat shops near the examination halls being prohibited to open during the exam timings.

Two weeks ago, Controller Examinations (CE) BIEK, Muhammad Azeem Siddiqui wrote a letter to Director General (DG) of Pakistan Rangers, seeking help in curbing cheating and exam papers getting leaked.

  • Abolish all these boards and fire the incompetent fools working for them. Extend schooling to 12th grade instead.

    • Changed Education Systems, Policy & Management for improvement of Pakistan Education :

  • Make strong punishment for students who cheats and more severer punishment for them who leaked papers. Only high level punishment strategy can prevent these or make at least 10 to 20 different copies of each paper. Each paper should be unique. This is another strategy.
