Govt Launches 5 Apps for Hajj Pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has launched multiple apps to assist pilgrims in performing Hajj and staying in Saudi Arabia.

The apps are available for Android users and provide information and guidelines to perform the pilgrimage with ease.

According to the ministry, the ‘Mina Locator App’ will help locate the user’s residence, Mina Maktab, train stations, the route to different camps, mosques, hospitals, and other important locations in Mina with reference to the user’s current location. You can download the app here.

Another app, AlMaqsad, provides detailed 3D indoor navigation for Masjid Al Haram. It can be downloaded here.

Whereas PakHajj Muavin App helps the pilgrim check their own details, their group’s details, buildings that they’re staying in, Maktab info, travel information as well as details about other hajjis

Rehnuma-e-Hajj App provides guidelines about performing Manasik-e-Hajj. The application is in Urdu and comes with an easy-to-use interface.

Pak Hajj Guide App educates the pilgrims about Hajj preparation, performing Umrah and Hajj, Ziarat-e-Madinah, and things to remember for the pilgrimage.
