Punch-hole screen technology is one of the design trends for 2019. While this technology was first adopted by flagship phones, it has slowly started making its way to budget phones. One of the budget phones to make use of this technology is the upcoming Camon 12 Air by Tecno.
When the bezelless screen trend took off in 2018, most companies used a notch for the selfie cameras. The next step was the punch-hole camera which not only increases the screen real estate, but it also adds to the immersive experience of a large, bezelless display.
Camon 12 Air will officially launch in Pakistan in the last week of October. Here are some other specifications of the budget phone:
It will have an LCD measuring 6.55-inches. Looking at images shared on social media sites, the phone will have premium looks. It’s not easy to implement a punch-hole design on an LCD display, which makes Tecno’s achievement here quite impressive.
The phone features a powerful 4,000 mAh battery, which should last you through a couple of days easily thanks to its power-efficient hardware.
Camon 12 Air features an AI triple camera setup at its back with a primary 16 MP sensor, a secondary 5 MP sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor for Bokeh, along with a Quad-LED flash. The phone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera that is equipped with an AI beauty mode.
Tecno’s new phone will cost somewhere between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 25,000. Camon 12 Air will be available through retailers and online soon.
