Startup Pakistan Program Will Train 100,000 Students in Entrepreneurship

Prime Minister Youth Affairs Programme (PMYAP) is going to initiate the Startup Pakistan Program soon.

The program will function under the “Kamyab Jawan” initiative by the government.

The program aims to provide hands-on experience in the latest technologies to more than 100,000 students. The students will be selected from various universities and technical institutions from all over Pakistan.

Different universities and technical training colleges will be extended the necessary support to develop incubation centers, which will offer a platform to students aspiring to set up their businesses.

Moreover, additional funds will be given to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) to expedite the development of Business Incubation Centers (BICs).

The BIC) will also provide entrepreneurship training to 500,000 students. Around 5,000 graduate start-ups from HEC recognized universities will be given access to incubation facilities at the BICs.

National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) will also train 500,000 youngsters in entrepreneurship. NAVTTC will also offer incubation facilities to the top 300 technical training colleges.

Under the Start-up Pakistan Program, overseas Pakistanis with proven expertise in the technology sector will train and guide young students.
