We all remember the famous German Ambassador, Martin Kobler.
Now that he has retired, his successor Bernhard Schlagheck is trying his best to emulate how Kobler interacted with the locals.
The German Ambassador to Pakistan loves the spicy taste of Channa Chaat which he tried for the first time in Lahore.
The top diplomat is on a visit to the provincial capital of Punjab where he was seen roaming around in Lawrence Garden. He took to Twitter to share his experience, much like the days when Kobler used to try out Pakistani dishes, visiting villages and painting his cars with truck art.
During my visit to Lahore, I went to Lawrence garden and tried ‘Channa Chaat’ for the first time and liked it very much. A bit spicy but taste was good. Even drank the sauce at the end.

Looks like we are going to see more of him in the future and hopefully he will also promote a soft image of Pakistan back in Germany and around the world.
