Pakistan’s opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad claims that he does not have any regrets about his career because he worked hard throughout.
Shehzad revealed that he has improved drastically in the last two years, personally and professionally both.
I have learned one thing in my life, and that’s to give your best and give 100 percent to whatever you’re doing. I have worked hard in the last two years and if you’ll see my daily routine now, you’ll be impressed.
The 28-year-old has been missing from international action since 2017 and has been looking to make a comeback. He featured in two T20I matches against Sri Lanka on home soil but was later dropped due to an unimpressive display.
Speaking about being dropped, Shehzad said that he does not regret it because it is only going to help him try harder.
I can only try to give my best, the results are not always in my hands. What I have in my hands is my effort, my dedication, my hard work, and my discipline, and I can assure you that there won’t be any compromise on these things.
He further added that he does not want to talk about how the previous management dealt with things and only wants to focus on the future.
The real cricket is test cricket and for the longer format of the game, you get players from first-class cricket. This cricket makes a player mature and it is important to give importance to domestic matches.
