US Embassy Introduces Visa Home Delivery Service for Pakistanis

The United States Embassy in Islamabad has introduced more facilities for Pakistani visa applicants.

The embassy, in a Twitter post on Wednesday, said that the applicants can now receive their visas at their homes by paying a nominal fee.

Intending applicants can avail this facility by selecting the ‘premium delivery’ service option while submitting an online application and receive their passport and visa at home. The charges for this service will be Rs. 700.

In recent months, the ties between Pakistan and the US have significantly improved, which is now reflecting in other fields as well. Recently, the country’s Acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Alice Wells, commended the economic reforms efforts by the Pakistan government. Moreover, Pakistan is also seeking US help to get out of FATF’s greylist.

In return, Pakistan is helping the United States to improve its ties with Iran and get an honorable exit from Afghanistan.
