Here Is How Taliban Helped Pakistan Capture Indian Spy Kulbhushan

It has been four years since Pakistani intelligence managed a massive victory against the Indian-sponsored terrorism groups when the Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav was apprehended. The Indian operative was arrested on 3rd March, 2016 when he was entering Balochistan via Iran.

However, a recent report suggests that the Afghan Taliban might have provided the lead on Kulbhushan’s activities to Pakistani authorities.

Renowned columnist and political commentator, Orya Maqbool Jan, has made the claim in a TV program. Responding to a question related to future prospects of the US-Taliban peace deal, Orya Maqbool Jan, said that Taliban gaining power in Afghanistan is a big plus for Pakistan.

Taliban have always been well-wishers of Pakistan; they provided information on Kulbhusan’s activities to us, after which the agencies captured him red-handed.

He mentioned that the improvement of the law and order situation in Balochistan wasn’t possible without this development and cooperation with the US authorities.

“The US authorities blacklisting the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) last year was a massive move which went unnoticed. This helped bring peace in the province,” he said, adding that due to this development, all Baloch extremist leaders like Brahamdagh Bugti and Hyrbyair Marri had to relocate from Afghanistan to either London or Switzerland.

He concluded that the presence of the Taliban in power corridors of Afghanistan will strengthen Pakistan’s position in the region.
