Former Cricketer Reveals Fawad Rana Might Sell Lahore Qalandars

Former Pakistan Test cricketer, Tanvir Ahmed has said that Fawad Rana might sell Lahore Qalandars after repeatedly coming up with dismal performances season after season.

If things don’t change, Rana Fawad might sell his franchise to someone else. The franchise spends a lot of money every year and conducts nation-wide talent hunt trials but the team disappoints on the field every season.

Lahore Qalandars have only won one match out of the 5 they have played this season. The franchise has finished last in all the previous seasons and as it looks, they’ll do exactly that this year as well.

The former cricketer also questioned the reason behind Lahore’s talent hunt programs and trials throughout the year, saying that there’s no point if it’s not yielding good results.

While Tanvir might be right about the poor performances of the team, his comments regarding the talent hunt programs aren’t exactly true. Lahore has given Pakistan cricket a number of players in the form of Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and the franchise plays a huge role in the grooming and exposure of these players.
