Due to political tensions, Pakistan and India’s bilateral cricketing ties have suffered. The two teams last played a bilateral series back in 2012-13 in India, and the arch-rivals now meet only in the major ICC tournaments.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO, Wasim Khan has said that the chances of a bilateral series happening are too slim in the near future and that the board has already lost millions of dollars because of India.

Talking to ESPNCricinfo, the PCB official said:
There appears to be little chance of India and Pakistan playing, and we have already suffered losses in millions of dollars.
India last toured Pakistan in 2005-06 for a 3-match Test and 5-match ODI series. The cricket fans in both countries are eager to see the two teams clash in front of home crowds, however, as Wasim Khan has said, it is a far-fetched idea for now.
