One of the major reasons behind these dismal numbers is the Corona Virus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown with multiple car companies shutting their operations for the time being.

March was pretty bad for Suzuki which posted their lowest sales since March, 2009 with a fall of 81% in sales on YoY basis and 50% fall on a MoM basis.

    • Supporting your comment with addition that so far government did nothing in this regard and they should take some substantive measure to bring the vehicle prices down.

  • Might it be that the abysmal quality and extremely high vehicle prices might be to blame for the reduced sale? They keep increasing prices despite decrease in dollar rate and subsidies.

Auto industry apnay gareebaan mein jhankay!Ab beth ke chankana bajai!

  • Thats fine with me ! People should be aware of the scam these companies are running for decades and governments are filling their pockets with their bribes and our taxes ! Why would government care ? They are using bmw, mercs and other European cars with 5 star safety ratings ! What we are getting ? A 2.5 million rd car with no airbags ? Questionable security ? High emissions and very less value for money ! And the manufacturer claim its 80% pakistan made ! Yeah the cheap plastic they splatter on the whole interior is definitely plastic but all the engines, transmission and stuff is foreign and they are happy to steal our precious money ! If government is sincere then like china bring a EV policy ! Allow people to import foreign cars and also raise domestic checking safety ratings and emissions standards ! Atleast have some shame
