Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health, Dr. Zafar Mirza, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He disclosed the news in a Twitter post on Monday.
Mirza said that he has mild symptoms and has already isolated himself at home upon doctor’s advice.

While requesting people for prayers, he asked his colleagues and subordinates to “keep up the good work.
Shah Mahmood Tests Positive
Earlier on Friday, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also tested positive for the virus. Qureshi took to Twitter to reveal the news, saying that he went into self-quarantine after showing mild symptoms, and later tested positive.
This afternoon I felt a slight fever and immediately quarantined myself at home. I have now tested positive for Covid 19. By the grace of Allah, I feel strong and energetic. I will continue to carry on my duties from home. Please keep me in your prayers.

Ayatullah Durranis Passes Away
Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) central leader from Balochistan, Ayatullah Durrani, has passed away. Hailing from the Mastung area of Balochistan, Durrani was a former federal minister and a senior PPP leader from the province. He had been admitted to a private hospital in Quetta from the past few days, where he drew his last breath.
