Governor Punjab Removes All Bureaucratic Delays in University Affairs

Governor and Universities Chancellor Punjab, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar, has taken a key step to remove bureaucratic impediments hindering the affairs of universities in the province.

In this regard, Governor Punjab has ordered all government departments including Chief Secretary Secretariat to ensure that every university file gets forwarded from each department within 10 days.

According to details, Governor Punjab has vowed to take stern disciplinary action against government officials in case of non-compliance with the latest directives.

The official notification states:

Each government department will be bound to forward the file regarding the affairs of all the universities to the next within 10 days. The order is applicable to Law, Health, Industry, and Agriculture Departments and Chief Secretary Office equally.

While speaking about the decision, Governor Punjab said that impeding the affairs of universities is tantamount to weakening Pakistan, and strengthening the education sector will make Pakistan stronger.

He added that the incumbent provincial government will ensure transparency in all levels in the education sector according to the vision of Chief Minister Punjab and Prime Minister.
