The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will undergo a financial audit on the directions of the Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination. According to the reports, Parliamentarians are not satisfied with the financial matters of the cricket’s governing body especially after a number of their questions are yet to be answered.
Earlier, the Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, was called to answer a number of questions related to the financial reports of PCB. The committee has now summoned Chairman, Ehsan Mani, on 31st August.

In the tenure of previous PCB administration, huge irregularities were reported in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 1 and 2. Cricket Pakistan has reported that the irregularities in the first two editions of PSL have now been addressed, however, the audit is now taking place for the latest financial reports.
This is not the first time PCB has come under the radar and it remains to be seen whether the audit report comes out in favor of the board or not.
