Govt. Launches Dedicated Website for Pakistan Citizen Portal

The federal government has launched the website for the Pakistan Citizen Portal.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Zulfiqar Bukhari, formally launched the web service of Pakistan Citizen Portal.

According to the official statement released by the PM Office (PMO), PM Imran Khan had directed the PM Delivery Unit (PMDU) to expand the coverage of Pakistan Citizen Portal after the resounding success of its mobile application.

More than 80 million Pakistanis would be able to register their complaints after the launch of the web service of Pakistan Citizen Portal.

Previously, only 30.5 million Pakistanis were able to lodge complaints through the Android and iOS applications of Pakistan Citizen Portal.

Soon after assuming office in 2018, PM Imran Khan had launched the Pakistan Citizen Portal, aiming to connect Pakistani citizens directly with over 8600 government departments.

In February 2019, Pakistan Citizen Portal was declared the 2nd best government mobile application in the world at the World Government Summit held in Dubai.

The same month, Pakistan Citizen Portal became the 7th best application in Google Play Store.
