KP Bans Morning Assemblies and Breaks in Schools

To reduce the risk and exposure to the coronavirus for children, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has reduced the school hours. To save time, the provincial government has scrapped morning assembly and lunch break in all the educational institutes.

As per the new time table, educational activities in middle and higher secondary schools will continue from 8:10 am to 1:30 pm, while primary classes will run from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Only five periods will be conducted every day.
