On Wednesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a meeting in Islamabad to review the Nullah Lai expansion, Lai Expressway, and Ring Road.
Hammad Azhar, Asad Umar, Sheikh Rashid, and senior officials attended the meeting and apprised the premier about these projects.

According to details, PM Imran has ordered senior officers from concerned departments to formulate final proposals for these projects after deliberating with all relevant stakeholders and submit it for final approval.
While underscoring the significance of the expansion of Nullah Lai, the premier said:
The Nullah Lai expansion project is very important for Rawalpindi for preventing its residents from floods.

He added that Lai Expressway and Ring Road projects will not only alleviate the problems citizens of Rawalpindi have been facing for many years but will also boost investment and economic activities in the city.
