The policy incorporates all relevant stakeholders including the players, staff, employees and officials. The whistleblowing policy will encourage people to come forward without revealing their identity in case they are aware of any suspicious behavior related to cricket.

According to the policy, any person can come forward and email their suspicions to Chief Operating Officer at [email protected]. The email should include the relevant details, including evidence and supporting documents.

PCB Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, spoke regarding the policy, saying:

While we are encouraging stakeholders in good faith to share information with evidence and supporting documents, we expect them to exercise this opportunity responsibly as any malicious or frivolous report can destroy the reputation and careers of honest, hardworking and promising individuals. Any whistleblower found to be deliberately misleading the PCB for personal gains and benefits will be subject to strict disciplinary action.

Although PCB has encouraged individuals to come forward, it has also warned them about the consequences of baseless allegations as it may cause harm to the whistleblowers themselves and strict action may be taken against them. It may also cause serious harm to the wrongly alleged, as it can have an effect on their integrity and dignity.
