Influential performances from Pakistani stars helped Galle Gladiators register their first win in the Lanka Premier League. Fast bowler, Mohammad Amir, picked up 5 wickets and ripped through the Colombo Kings batting line-up, restricting them to 171.
Amir became the first bowler in Lanka Premier League to pick up a five-wicket haul. He conceded only 26 runs in his four overs as Galle Gladiators continued their search for their first win in the tournament.

Ahsan Ali, playing only his third match of the tournament, took charge of the run chase and scored a magnificent half-century. Ahsan scored 56 runs on 38 balls including 9 fours and a six as Galle comfortably chased down the target.

Wicket-keeper batsman, Azam Khan, has been in impressive form in the ongoing tournament. After scoring a blazing half-century in the previous match, Azam continued where he left off and scored a quick-fire 35 runs to finish off the match. Azam’s innings of 35 came off 16 balls and included 3 boundaries and 3 maximums.
